Monday Morning Perspective

Yesterday was a great day at both Fairview campuses. We are so blessed with our worship teams who lead us. We are equally blessed with so many volunteers who work hard to make everyone feel welcome and make it a positive experience. From our parking lot volunteers to our greeters and those serving at our tents and guest services and of course our coffee servers, we have a great team at Fairview.
We continued Running on Empty...I don't have to be lonely, with a passage from 2 Timothy 4. We saw how Paul struggled with loneliness and feelings of being deserted. This message brought attention to that emotion that is so often not talked about or shared. It's good to remember that Jesus experienced the same feelings of loneliness that we do. Family and friends deserted Him as His message turned to the subject of the cross. The disciples deserted Him. Even God the Father had to turn His back on Him as He became sin for us. We can be encouraged that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us no matter what. He experienced loneliness so that we don't have to. Have a blessed week and start today inviting others to join us Sunday. We see each week that its working to invite others!!
