Monday Morning Perspective

We continued our journey through 1 John  on Sunday as my husband preached a great message on prayer. I had one tell me it was meant just for her and I know exactly what she meant. I felt the same way. I'm always needing a challenge in the area of my prayer life. It seems bible study comes so easy but prayer is truly hard work. I think Satan battles against us harder to keep us from prayer because he knows that's where the sweetness of our relationship with God is found and our faith grows.
Eddie gave us many points worth pondering and examining against our lives. He told us how we can be confident that God hears our prayers but also the conditions for answered prayer.
I love this series! We have a few more weeks to go, don't miss!
There's so many things to be excited about at Fairview! I love seeing so many young couples at church. Eddie and I will start back on Jan 26th with our small group for engaged and young married couples at our house. We are always open to more who want to join us. Get in touch and let me know if you'd like to come. Our young couples would love to meet and connect with you.  I love it when a student comes up and introduces us to a teacher visiting. That's a great thing!! I hope you're excited about HOPE week that was introduced  Sunday. Reserve that week and sign up to be a part of sharing the hope of Jesus in our city. As Eddie told you we will kick off another service starting Feb 21st at 6pm. It will be in the Alive Center. That's going to be a great opportunity for those who can't be at church on Sunday morning and we can reach an entirely new realm of people. Get connected or stay connected. I believe Fairview is the greatest place to be!
